Power comes from Nissan’s VR30DDTT 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine. In Sport and Performance grades, the engine produces 400 horsepower at 6,400 rpm, while 2027 Nissan Z NISMO raises output to 420 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 384 lb-ft of torque from 2,000 to 5,200 rpm. Sport and Performance trims can be equipped with either a close-ratio six-speed manual transmission or a nine-speed automatic, and Z NISMO is offered with a six-speed manual or a NISMO-tuned nine-speed automatic.

For 2027, Z Performance models receive larger monotube shock absorbers that help improve ride comfort and handling consistency. Fuel tank updates have also been added across the Z lineup to help support fuel delivery during extended high-G cornering.

Z Performance Features

The cockpit of the 2027 Nissan Z places important information and controls within easy reach of the driver. A 12.3-inch fully digital instrument display includes Normal, Enhanced, and Sport modes, allowing the driver to adjust the display layout to match the drive. The standard three-bay gauge cluster adds a classic performance feel by showing turbocharger boost, turbocharger turbine speed, and voltage.

Performance and NISMO trims add more advanced connectivity and audio features, including a 9-inch touchscreen with navigation, an eight-speaker Bose audio system, Active Noise Cancellation, and Active Sound Enhancement. The 2027 Nissan Z Sport and Performance receive updated exterior styling inspired by classic Nissan sports cars. A new Z hood emblem replaces the previous front Nissan badge, while a body-color bar divides the grille for a distinctive appearance. Nissan also revised the bumper, grille, and internal ducting to improve cooling airflow while helping reduce aerodynamic lift and drag.

Wheel and tire packages differ by trim level.
