Anything short of a Platinum holds 31.6 cubic feet behind the second row. Platinum stretches that to 36.5 cubic feet with its Divide-N-Hide Cargo System lowered, and folding the second row on any Rogue opens 74.1 cubic feet. Nissan also shaped a spot in the cargo area to hold milk jugs and fitted four tie-down hooks, so a load of groceries stays put on the Highway 55 curves.

Below Platinum, an 8-inch NissanConnect touchscreen handles Apple CarPlay and Android Auto over a wired link, and a 7-inch Advanced Drive-Assist Display lives in the cluster. Speaker count runs four on the S and six on the other grades short of Platinum, every trim gets two front USB-C ports, and SV and higher add a Wi-Fi hotspot along with two charge-only USB-C ports in back.

Platinum rebuilds the dash around a 12.3-inch HD touchscreen running Google built-in, and a second 12.3-inch display serves as a fully digital gauge cluster. Platinum also brings navigation and SiriusXM 360L, phones connect to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto without a cord, and Bose Premium Audio spreads sound across 10 speakers, a Dual Driver Subwoofer among them. Wireless charging is a Platinum standard that Rock Creek buyers can add through the Rock Creek Premium Package, and a head-up display comes with the Platinum Premium Package.

Charcoal runs through the whole lineup. The S upholsters its seats in Charcoal cloth and the SV in premium Charcoal cloth, and Dark Armor’s Prima-Tex leatherette, going by the interior images on Nissan’s site, comes in Charcoal or Light Gray. Rock Creek has its own Charcoal leatherette, finished with contrast stitching and Rock Creek badging, and its seat centers repel water with a material Nissan describes as inspired by ballistic nylon.

Platinum goes furthest. Its semi-aniline leather-appointed seats are quilted and perforated, come in Charcoal or Chestnut, and share the cabin with ambient lighting in a color the driver selects. Chestnut warms the cabin with a brown tone, while Charcoal keeps things dark and understated for drivers who prefer a subtler look.
